We are proud to announce that our Vernaccia Valle del Tirso “Sa Crannatza de Silviu Cata” has been awarded the Gold Medal at the 41st edition of the International Wine Challenge in London.

An extraordinary achievement that confirms our consistent quality and deep commitment to enhancing Sardinia’s native grape varieties.

The prestigious international competition, featuring producers from 36 countries and a jury of nearly 250 experts, selected Sa Crannatza as one of only 14 Italian wines to receive a Gold Medal.

This major recognition follows the Gold Medal already awarded at Mundus Vini 2025 in Germany, further strengthening the positioning of Sardinian wine among the world’s finest oenological expressions.

Sa Crannatza de Silviu Cata is a truly one-of-a-kind wine, crafted exclusively from Vernaccia grapes and aged for five years in Sardinian chestnut barrels.

Its 18.5% ABV, deep antique gold color, and remarkably complex aromatic profile, with saline, iodine, and dried fruit notes, offer an authentic and unforgettable sensory experience.

The launch of this wine symbolically marked the 95th birthday of our founder, Silvio Carta. The label bears the inscription “Sa Storia”, a heartfelt tribute to a man who shaped the history of Sardinian winemaking with passion, vision, and a profound respect for tradition.
