The burning sun, the sea that touches the skin, a light breeze that smells of salt and a glass of Vermentino. Very fresh. This is the magic of summer in Sardinia. A magic that does not end in just three months but that lasts a whole year enclosed in the bottles by Silvio Carta.
Vermentino is the main vine variety of the island of Sardinia. The only wine that has been granted the Denomination of Controlled and Guaranteed Origin is Vermentino di Gallura. A small portion of territory, the north-eastern part of the island – Gallura, precisely – gives life to wines with a distinctive territorial imprint, which are fruity, mineral, fresh and decisively savoury. Our Vermentino was born here. Great attention in the vineyard and the usual care of the grapes, once they arrive in the cellar, make Serenata a wine loved especially beyond the border.
